Gli A Mismatch Theory sono una band punk-rock italiana nata a Siena nel tardo 2015 dalle ceneri dei Globage street-punk band aretina, sciolta nel 2014. I Chitarristi, Marco – IL SECCO – Sarracino e Michele – SEAN – Pisano, insieme al bassista, Antonio – CELSO – Locafaro, sono gli unici membri a far parte della band stabilmente fin dagli inizi, mentre per vari motivi si sono alternati diversi cantanti e batteristi prima che la formazione si stabilizzasse. Le cose cambiano nel tardo 2017, quando entrano a far parte del gruppo il batterista, Giovanni – LA CARNE – Pucci, ed il frontman -Andrea – YEPES – Mugnaini, stabilendo così la formazione definitiva.
La band è fortemente influenzata da molti sottogeneri – dal punk-hc melodico al grunge e allo stoner, dal punk-rock old school al metalcore, al crossover, a varie derivazioni e sfumature del metal, etc. – e lavora per fare in modo che quelle influenze traspaiano dai loro pezzi e dai loro live shows.
ONE è la prima demo pubblicata dagli A Mismatch Theory, un mini EP di 6 pezzi interamente autoprodotto e DIY che gli ha permesso di suonare in giro un bel po’ e di pagare qualche conto, supportati da un sacco di amici e fan conosciuti per strada tra una data e l’altra in locali super, barracci, pub e festival fighissimi… La band adesso sta lavorando ad una seconda demo di 3 pezzi, con uscita prevista per il tardo 2019, e alla pianificazione dell’uscita del loro primo disco ufficiale nel 2020.

A Mismatch Theory is an Italian punk-rock band born in Siena in late 2015 from the ashes of Globage, etrurian street-punk band retired in 2014. Guitarists, Marco – IL SECCO – Sarracino and Michele – SEAN – Pisano, together with bassist Antonio – CELSO – Locafaro, are the only consistent members from the beginning, while several drummers and singers were forced to leave the band for different reasons throughout the years. Things changed once and for all in late 2017 when drummer, Giovanni – LA CARNE – Pucci and frontman, Andrea – YEPES – Mugnaini joined the band, defining the final line up.
The band is highly influenced by lots of sub-genres – from melodic punk-hc to grunge and stoner, from old school punk-rock to metal-core, crossover, and several shades of metal, etc. – and works hard to let these influences shine in their songs and live shows.
ONE is A Mismatch Theory’s first release, a 6-tracks demo entirely DIY that let them play many shows and pay some bills, supported by lots of cool friends and fans met on the road among big venues and small clubs, bars, pubs, cool festivals and so on. The band is now working on a second DIY demo including 3 tracks to be released in late 2019 while planning the release of their first official album for 2020.
